So why do most people Fail ?

This is a much misunderstood area of Trading. Statistically 95% of Traders who Trade the markets (Stocks or Currency) actually lose money, to the point where they stop Trading. Why?

There are a multitude of reasons, but the main ones are :-

• An expectation of making money immediately.

What is a system, and why are they so important ?

The vast majority of successful Traders use a 'system'. So what is a 'system' ? put simply, system Trading is the use of a predefined rules set that covers various aspects of each Trade.

In its simplest form, this could be nothing more than how to decide to Enter a Trade, and where to put a protective stop.

In its most complex, a 'System' could consist of several entry rules and filters, as well as trailing stops based on such things as volume and price movement, as well as additional exits based on time in market, Pre determined profit take etc etc.

Ultimately, more Traders are looking to algorithmic systems to help them Trade. An algorithmic 'System' uses historic price data, along with technical indicators such as Moving averages, relative strength Indicator, stochastic etc to calculate entries, trailing stops and exits for the user. A really good system can even calculate risk management.

For the beginner, a trading 'System' is almost a must. Why? because the use of a Trading 'System' will instill discipline. Discipline is one of the most important traits a new Trader has to learn.

Trading 'Systems' come in all shapes and sizes. try several, until you find one that you are comfortable with.

Start with a paper based system, described in an E-Book, these are usually very reasonable, and consists of a one off fee. Later, when you have gained some experience, you may want to look for an automated algorithmic system. These tend to be more expensive, and may be priced on Monthly subscription.

In this section there are links to fully automated algorithmic Trading systems. All of these have been written in house by Fellow Traders for either eSignal. This means you have to subscribe to eSignal to be able to run this plugin.

The cost of the most basic eSignal service is End of Day and costs $295 per annum. This will give you access to most US stocks, and although the name implies you only get end of day data, you actually get intra day data too, but only outside trading hours. If you want to Trade intra day using eSignal, then you will have to subscribe to the premier service.

MetaTrader Plug-ins

The following system has been written as an Expert Advisor (EA) for MetaTrader 4. MetaTrader 4 is fast becoming the de facto standard for Trading Forex Trading accounts. More and more Forex Brokers offering the ability for customers to use MataTrader 4 as the default Trading platform.
